Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should I hire an interior designer during a new build?

The earlier, the better.

We recommend bringing your interior designer onto your project as soon as architectural plans begin to take shape. Interior design is not simply the selection of finishes; it informs layout, lighting placement, millwork details, ceiling treatments, cabinetry proportions, and the overall flow of the home.

When we are involved early, we are able to collaborate with the architect and builder to ensure every architectural decision supports the vision for the interiors. This alignment prevents costly revisions, eliminates rushed selections, and allows your home to feel cohesive from the foundation to the final layer.

Timeless homes are built through thoughtful collaboration from the very beginning.

2. What is included in your full-service interior design?

Our full-service design is comprehensive and highly personalized.

We guide each client through architectural detailing, interior finish selections, custom millwork design, lighting design, plumbing and appliance selections, tile and stone specifications, paint direction, and furnishing design. We also oversee procurement, ordering, and installation of furnishings and materials to ensure every detail is executed with care.

Our process is collaborative and structured, yet tailored to each client’s lifestyle and values. From initial concept through final installation, we manage the many moving parts so that the experience feels clear, refined, and thoughtfully led.

3. What is your interior design process?

Our process is thoughtful, collaborative, and intentionally guided.

Through a series of meetings, we take the time to understand your lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and long-term vision for your home. From there, we work through the many layers of the build: architectural details, interior finishes, and furnishings, ensuring each decision contributes to a cohesive and enduring result.

Throughout construction, we coordinate closely with your builder and architectural team, maintaining alignment between vision and execution. As the home nears completion, we oversee the final layers, culminating in a carefully curated installation.

Our goal is not simply to design a beautiful home, but to craft a legacy space that feels considered in every detail.

4. What is the investment to work with Edenbrooke Interiors?

Each project is unique, and investment varies based on scope, scale, and level of customization.

As a full-service luxury design firm, our projects typically involve comprehensive architectural detailing, finish selections, and custom furnishings. We believe in investing in quality craftsmanship, enduring materials, and bespoke elements that stand the test of time.

During our initial consultation, we discuss your project scope and provide clarity on anticipated design fees and overall furnishing investment. Our clients value a thoughtful, highly curated process and understand that exceptional design is both an art and an investment.

5. Do you work on remodels as well as new construction?

Yes. While we are often involved in custom new builds, we also take on select remodel projects.

Remodels require a careful balance of honoring what exists while thoughtfully enhancing it. Whether reimagining a kitchen, refining architectural details, or fully renovating a home, our approach remains the same: create a cohesive, timeless result that feels intentional from room to room.

Project selection depends on scope and alignment, ensuring we can dedicate the level of attention each client deserves.

6. Do you offer furniture-only or furnishing services?

Yes, we offer furnishing and furniture-focused design for clients who may not require full construction involvement.

This service includes space planning, custom upholstery design, sourcing of trade-exclusive pieces, window treatments, lighting, and layered accessories. We oversee procurement and installation to ensure the final result feels complete and cohesive.

Our furnishing projects are approached with the same level of care and intention as our full-scale builds, because the final layer is what brings warmth and personality to a home.

7. What makes Edenbrooke Interiors different?

Our work begins with architecture.

We believe timeless interiors are rooted in classical proportion, thoughtful detailing, and a deep respect for heritage and craftsmanship. By collaborating closely with architects and builders from the earliest stages, we ensure that the structure of the home supports the beauty within it.

Our approach is collaborative, client-centered, and uncompromising in quality. We prioritize natural materials, enduring design principles, and bespoke elements that reflect each client’s story.
